They still, apparently, hvae more 2026 1500s to order to fill the capacity, so TRX being a 2027 will continue to be delayed allocation.
"try again later" essentially...
Just noticed this morning that they dumped at least 15,000 more 2026 orders into the system. I'm "hoping" that this is all

So despite our excitement from the Jan 1 reveal and our zeal to snag one of these as soon as we can, Ram is treating the situation like any other model/model year ordering/production cycle.

Hopefully it isn’t drawn out even further with no TRXs actually on lots or in driveways until early 2027. But it’s looking that way.

Does this mean 2027 production start date of 8/3 is not happening?
Well supposedly SHAP daily production output for 1500’s is 1400 units/day so, if that holds true and there are 15000 units left to produce for 2026, they should hammer those out before the end of this month. Which would give all of July for them to update any tooling changes for the incoming 2027 model switchover and still start 2027 production on 8/3

Another month of wondering if I will pursue a 2027 because I don’t know anything about ordering timelines, possible discounts, or if I will even be lucky enough to score an allocation. My interest is dwindling.

Cool of Ram to reintroduce the TRX but now it’s just sitting on my hands thru a lap dance that seems never ending.

That's not quite accurate. They have a CAPACITY to turn out that many trucks a day, but they've been running below 1000/day this model year on average. On 5-day weeks for the most part. The SHAP average on a monthly basis is about 22,500 year to date.
Now, considering they already had a backlog of about 35,000 trucks, and now they've added another 15,000 orders, this is looking like more than 2 months of current production. Plus shutting down to retool if necessary (but I don't believe that was on the schedule).
The only big guess is how many orders will be abandoned, which changes the equation greatly.

Good info as always @Eighty!

I don't quite understand the link between releasing an order guide and finishing up current MY production. Perhaps there is no link and they are just finalizing the details...and we are impatient.

Interest will spike again once we see those published, but it is an peculiar marketing move to announce the SRT TRX in January and then follow up with going on 6 months of silence.

If you were releasing an exciting new product in 6 months, you'd want to make a big announcement too (with a lot of teasers to generate buzz). But actually letting people order next year's product when you're still trying to take orders for this year wouldn't make any sense.

In theory, the 2027 orders will open as soon as they're "DONE DONE" taking 2026 orders (not finishing 2026 production). The time is about here for that.

True. I guess I read orders for RHO were done 5/31. I assumed we'd have guides by now, but I suppose they'll be here soon enough. We still have to wade through the allocation period anyway.

You don’t want the first ones anyways. Ram isn’t the best at doing something “new”.

RAM is getting everyone ready for the RE-ANNOUNCEMENT of the 2027 TRX SRT on Jan 1 2027 😳 But during the 2026 year while we were all excited they made some major changes, almost as major as putting the $3 t-Rex head on the tailgate, they dropped the 1500 from the name!! That’s BIG right?!? I mean, it’s only available as a 1500 so why do they have it labeled as that anyways? 🤷‍♂️

Well I am going to keep my 23 and give the new TRX a year at least after its out there to see if they fixed all the issues and no more pop up. Then I`ll make a decision on purchase.

Why does RAM advertise 7 distinct color options for the TRX SRT or 6 distinct color options for the RB when 4 of the colors are the same with the different model vehicles?

Is the only way to get Flame Red is order the Bloodshot Edition w/ the over-the-top graphics? Nothing against Molten Red but it don't match my Challenger (Torred) as well.

Those are the 7 colors for either Bloodshot Night or non-Bloodshot Night models. The only Flame Red part is the stripe.
