'27 TRX Info Slides via MARK DODGE

I thought I saw a video that listed all the standard options and packages available for the RB. Maybe it was a latest Barry from CTech-review YouTube. With the TRX SRT (since the only change from 1/1 is the name being switched around) I have not seen what is standard or optional 🤷‍♂️

Pretty sure what is standard used to be considered “Level 2”, with limited options being beadlock wheels, moon roof, running boards, decals, and bed protection package.

And the step up from standard is Bloodshot Night, which includes a few or maybe most or maybe all options, with the running boards being rock rails instead of full boards.

That is how I am also understanding it so far, but let’s get this in writing 🤣

Not holding my breath… this may end up being a situation where there will be nothing more expedited than any other model year we’ve seen before… and we don’t see anything concrete until August…

And they just revealed it early enough to keep us on the hook as long as they dictate.

There's a marketing packet floating around for the RB. It looks very similar to what Anthony posted in the first few posts in this thread.

...has useless added weight in the form of an extended cab no passengers can fit in...
Since the quad cab is shorter there's definitely no added weight. I'm sure they picked it for weight savings, as in performance.

Besides, not everybody needs a backseat in the first place, let alone one that'll easily accommodate a couple of obese passengers, a tool chest, a large dog, and an ice chest.

Also, many claim that a Ram crew cab longbed (8') is way to long to drive and park. Well, a TRX with it's minuscule bed is only 23 inches shorter, the rest is the enormous Gen 5 cab.

My point is if you’re not doing a full crew cab, save some weight on a performance truck and do a regular cab.

Then they'd have to make a longer TRX bed, or the Bee would be (and look) ridiculously short.
I like the way regular cab trucks look. As long as it’s not a crazy long bed, they look better than quad/extended cabs. Crew cabs look better to me than quads in all circumstances.

Yes, I've had several 2-doors, and they can look great, but would not with a 5'7" bed.

That'd be more like an airport tug than a pickup.

Let's do a TRX/RB with a 12 foot bed/crew. We can put in an accordian style connector to make turning easier.

Also available, the TRX/RB with no bed at all. We're talking sub 2 second 0-60. Stability might be lacking, but everyone will have their option!

That would create a few interesting angles. A cab and chassis is an "incomplete vehicle", and even without anything back there it would have to pull into the scales in California.

Although, an aluminum flatbed could look nice, even though I'm normally not a fan of SRW pickups with flatbeds.

Like this? 🤣

I've owned two regular cab pickups and they suck. If you've got a passenger the rest of your shit has to go in the bed. I really like the crew cab, but rarely use all of the space. A quad cab would be fine for me.

Well... nothing today. Just rebates and sales goals etc. TOmorrow hopefully we get more nitty gritty.
They still, apparently, hvae more 2026 1500s to order to fill the capacity, so TRX being a 2027 will continue to be delayed allocation.
"try again later" essentially...
